Nothing better than photographing at a forest preserve on a gorgeous day with a fun-loving family! The kids also enjoyed holding hands with their parents while strolling along the various paths during their portrait session. Truly a picture perfect day!
We witnessed the beautiful bond between these siblings during their outdoor portrait session. This little sister looks up to her big brother and he absolutely adores her. These images show their love and friendship towards one another. They were so much fun to photograph at the forest preserve!

She is a reflection of grace in a season of excitement, anticipation, and wonder. Together, they are one of the most tender, gentle and loving couples I've had the good fortune to photograph.
Can you imagine our excitement when Modani contacted us, asking for our design thoughts? What a fun project! Immediately, I started to think about how we would love to see our photography displayed as art, in a style that compliments the beautiful furniture Modani offers. Here is just a sampling of some of our favorite rooms- enjoy!
It was really hard to choose my favorite Modani modern sofa. Truly, they have a great variety to choose from. As a lover of neutrals myself, I decided to go with pieces that were elegant and simple. I chose the Black Phantom Sofa and the Brown Phantom Sofa for many reasons, but primarily because I am always drawn to pieces that are big enough for our large family to cuddle on. And, as a woman who loves change, I especially like the modularity of these pieces.
For the non sectional sofa room, I chose the Onyxia Sofa Bed in Black. That's right, you read correctly - it converts into a fabulous bed! Who doesn't need an extra place for a friend or family member to crash? I love furniture with multiple functions - and especially sofa beds without back breaking bars - this is a piece I think we need in the studio!
Several items are on sale over at Modani - better grab them now while you still can!
A little goes a long way with this punch of pattern and solid combo! The perfect winter portrait styling.
Scrolling through the international contest winners, I never expected to see my name once let alone twice. I am incredibly humbled and honored to have placed in this prestigious competition. The detailed press release is included below, but to me, the biggest news is that pursuing one's dreams and allowing oneself to take creative risks can be a very rewarding process. Thank you to all of our clients for encouraging me to constantly try harder.
