To help keep your baby happy and gas free in preparation for their newborn session, I’ve compiled a list of foods we recommend that our breastfeeding mamas try to avoid beginning two days prior to your session. This guide is purely a suggestion based on our research and experiences -  as always, if you have any questions or concerns please consult your pediatrician.

 

Foods to avoid

Spicy Foods

Citrus Fruits

  • pineapple

  • lemons 
  • grapefruit

Mercury-containing fish

  • mackerel

Good Foods to eat

Babies experiencing gas or tummy discomfort may feel uncomfortable during their photo session.  Working together, we can keep baby as soothed and calm as possible.
