So happy to announce March Mini Sessions! This year we will be holding our first-ever Mother’s Day mini sessions! And, even more exciting…we will be offering some amazing packages which will include an assortment of photos, jewelry, albums, and a set of custom note pads by IMadeThis.
You’re probably thinking, How can we even think about Mother’s Day when it’s the dead of winter?! Good question…
Mother Day is May 9th. In order for you to be able to choose your images and have them delivered in time for the holiday, we actually will be holding mini sessions in March, prior to Spring Break, on Saturday, March 13 and Saturday, March 20th. Mini sessions will be held at our studio in Highwood, unless the weather is fabulous, in which case we will move outside!

I’ve been blessed to photograph this family several times. Truly, it is a pleasure watching their family grow. This past session was a joyous one, as we photographed the newest addition to their clan! Such a gorgeous newborn — and her brother was a ton of fun, too. Thanks for welcoming me back into your home, WD family. It is like visiting old friends.

Her feet remind me of a heart – they should as she is so surrounded by love.

Laura and I both enjoyed the shoot we spent with this young man. He was so polite, and easy to work with. Thanks for coming into the studio on such a cold day, “B”! You were such a trooper – and I hope the homework didn’t get you down.

Certainly everyone feels for the people of Haiti. In an effort to help in ways that we can, a portion of all sales for the month of January will go to UNICEF (this includes sessions booked in January that will take place in future months). UNICEF has issued a statement that “Children are always the most vulnerable population in any natural disaster, and UNICEF is there for them”. Happy New Year, everyone! I hope had a great end to 2009, and that your 2010 is off to a great start. We’ve got lots of fun and exciting things planned at the studio this year- I can’t wait to share some of it with all of you! Keep posted!
